This topic details the specifications for ApsaraDB for MongoDB replica set instances.

Description

  • The specified memory for an instance type includes the memory used by MongoDB management services, database services, and the underlying operating system (such as memory for the BIOS, kernel, and hypervisor). Therefore, the available memory you see is less than the amount specified for the instance type.

  • Some instance types were upgraded on May 14, 2024. If your instance's maximum connections do not match the specifications in this topic, restart the instance to apply the upgrade. For more information, see Notice: Upgrade of maximum connections for some ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance types.

Important

If a single collection file exceeds 16 TB, the instance becomes unavailable.

Cloud disk-based edition

The following database versions are supported:

  • MongoDB 8.0

  • MongoDB 7.0

  • MongoDB 6.0

  • MongoDB 5.0

  • MongoDB 4.4

  • MongoDB 4.2

  • China (Shanghai): availability zones B, G, and L.

  • China (Beijing): availability zones F, H, L, and K.

  • China (Zhangjiakou): availability zones A and C.

  • China (Shenzhen): availability zones E, D, and F.

The General-purpose Cloud Disk-based Edition is currently available in the following regions and availability zones:

  • China (Hangzhou): availability zones K and J.

  • China (Shanghai): availability zones B, L, M, and N.

  • China (Beijing): availability zones I, J, L, F, H, and K.

  • China (Ulanqab): availability zone A.

  • China (Shenzhen): availability zone D

  • China (Hong Kong): availability zones B and C.

  • Singapore: availability zone A.

Note
  • If you select a multi-AZ deployment when creating an instance, ensure the selected instance type is supported in all target availability zones.

  • The General-purpose Cloud Disk-based Edition does not support cloud disk encryption.

  • The General-purpose Cloud Disk-based Edition is not yet available to all users. If you cannot find the corresponding instance types in the console for a specific region, submit a ticket to request access.
