ApsaraDB for MongoDB allows you to configure database parameters. You can modify these parameters to better suit your business requirements.
Prerequisites
This procedure applies to standalone, replica set, and sharded cluster instances.
Considerations
Modifying certain parameters automatically restarts the instance. To identify which parameters require a restart, see the Parameter List column on the Force Restart page.
An instance restart interrupts all active connections. Before you modify a parameter that requires a restart, schedule the change during off-peak hours to minimize the impact on your services.
Procedure
Go to the ApsaraDB for MongoDB replica set instances or ApsaraDB for MongoDB sharded cluster instances page, select the resource group and region at the top, and then click the ID of the target instance.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Parameters.
On the Parameter List page, modify parameters based on the instance type.
NoteOn the Parameter List page, you can view the Parameter Name, Default Value, Parameter Value, Force Restart, Value Range, and Parameter Description for each parameter.
