If you no longer need the audit log for ApsaraDB for MongoDB, you can disable the feature to reduce audit log costs.

Prerequisites

The audit log feature must be enabled. For more information, see Enable the audit log feature.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select a resource group and a region, and then click the target instance ID.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the instance details page, choose Data Security > Audit Logs.

  3. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Service Settings.

  4. In the Service Settings panel, in the Instance Settings section, turn off the Audit Log switch.

    Note

After you disable the audit log feature, new audit logs for the instance will no longer be uploaded. Existing logs are unaffected and are automatically deleted when their retention period expires.

  5. Click Confirm.
