ApsaraDB for MongoDB allows you to adjust the provisioned performance of an ESSD AutoPL disk to handle sudden or planned traffic spikes.
Prerequisites
The instance uses an ESSD AutoPL disk.
Limitations
You must wait at least one hour before you can modify the provisioned performance again. For more information, see Modify the performance configuration of an ESSD AutoPL disk.
Billing
Modifying the provisioned performance may incur additional charges. IOPS pricing is as follows:

The unit price is CNY 0.00000625/IOPS/hour in the following scenarios:

The storage capacity of a single node is between 501 GB and 1,000 GB, and the provisioned performance is between 0 IOPS and 11,200 IOPS.

The storage capacity of a single node is between 1,001 GB and 2,000 GB, and the provisioned performance is between 0 IOPS and 19,200 IOPS.

The storage capacity of a single node is between 2,001 GB and 32,768 GB, and the provisioned performance is between 0 IOPS and 32,000 IOPS.

In all other scenarios, the unit price is CNY 0.0000625/IOPS/hour.

Procedure

Go to the Replica Set Instances or Sharded Cluster Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region and resource group of the target instance, and then click the ID of the target instance.

On the Basic Information page, in the Specification Information section, click Edit next to Provisioned Performance.

Adjust the value for IOPS based on your business needs.

Click Confirm.
