You can unsubscribe from idle ApsaraDB for MongoDB subscription instances to save resources. This topic describes how to unsubscribe from an ApsaraDB for MongoDB subscription instance using the unsubscribe management feature.
Prerequisites
The instance is a single-node, ReplicaSet, or sharded cluster subscription instance.
The instance is in the Running state.
You have backed up and migrated the instance data. For more information, see Backup and recovery and Data migration and synchronization.
Notes
After you unsubscribe from a subscription instance:
The instance is moved to the recycle bin and its state changes to Locked.
Instance backups are retained. If the size of your data backups exceeds the free quota, you are charged for the backups until the instance is destroyed. To recover or destroy the instance, see Recycle bin.
