Transcoding converts an audio or video file into one or more output files optimized for different network bandwidths, devices, and use cases. When the built-in jobs and workflows in the ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS) console do not meet your requirements, call the SubmitJobs operation to submit transcoding jobs programmatically. This topic provides Java SDK V2.0 code examples for submitting, querying, canceling, and traversing transcoding jobs.
Prerequisites
The SDK client is created. For more information, see Initialize a client.
Submit a transcoding job
Call the SubmitJobs operation to submit a transcoding job.
Note
When submitting a transcoding job via the SDK, perform URL encoding on the objects. Otherwise, the job fails. For more information, see URL encoding.
Specify an object name that conforms to the naming conventions. Otherwise, the object cannot be found and the job fails. For more information, see Parameter details.
Record the ID of each submitted job. The ID is required for subsequent query and traverse operations.
