Query your ApsaraVideo Media Processing (MPS) bills in the Expenses and Costs console to review charges and understand each bill field.

Important

Due to service upgrades, note the following changes to your bills:

  1. Effective August 9, 2022, the product name on your bill changed from ApsaraVideo Media Processing to Intelligent Media Services. For more information, see [Product Notice] ApsaraVideo Media Processing Service Upgrade.

  2. Effective May 11, 2023, the names in the billing item field were updated. For details, see the Bill fields section below.

  3. Effective at 10:00 on May 25, 2023, RAM user ID information was added to the instance ID field. For details, see the Bill fields section below.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Billing > Bill Details.

  3. On the Bill Details tab, filter bills by Statistic Item and Statistic Period to find the information you need.

Bill fields

Instance ID

The instance ID field in an MPS bill is a semicolon-separated string containing the service instance ID, region, user account ID, and special values such as the high-speed transcoding tier or intelligent production feature.

Example: 17************42;cn-beijing;ram-23************88;5x. The following table describes the components.

The meaning of this field changed on February 22, 2023. Before this date, it was the ID of the RAM user that incurred the charges. On or after this date, it is the Alibaba Cloud account ID.

Region

The region where the charges were incurred.

cn-beijing

User account ID

Applies to all charges except video AI. This field was added to bills starting at 10:00 on May 25, 2023, to enable cost allocation by user account.

  • If the usage is from an Alibaba Cloud account (primary account), the value is admin-{Alibaba Cloud account ID}.

  • If the usage is from a RAM user (sub-account), the value is ram-{RAM user ID}.

Resolution specification

This value appears only for H266, AV1, GIF, or WEBP transcoding charges. For details, see the sections below.
