In MPS, use cryptographic settings to protect your playback resources. If you change a domain name's configuration in the ApsaraVideo VOD console, you must clear its cache in MPS to ensure the new settings apply to subsequent playback requests. This topic describes how to configure these settings and clear the cache.
Cryptographic settings
Use cases
Configure a Cryptographic Primary Key and a Cryptographic Secondary Key to generate a hash signature for your videos. This signature protects your playback resources. For details on using the cryptographic keys, see Play videos.
Procedure

Log on to the MPS console.

In the top navigation bar, select a region.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

Next to Cryptographic settings, click Change Settings.

Enter your primary key in the Cryptographic Primary Key field. The Cryptographic Secondary Key is optional.

Click OK.
Cache management
Use cases
MPS caches your CDN domain name configurations to sign playback URLs on your behalf. If you change the configuration of a domain name in the ApsaraVideo VOD console, you must clear its cache in MPS to apply the updates.
Procedure

Click the Cache Management tab.

To clear the cache for multiple domain names, select their checkboxes and click Clear Cache. For a single domain name, find it in the list and click Clear Cache in the Actions column.
