To use SchedulerX for scheduling, management, monitoring, and task alerts, you must first activate the service. This topic explains how to activate SchedulerX in the Microservices Engine (MSE) console.
Procedure
Go to the MSE instance creation page.
If you have not activated the MSE cluster hosting service:
Go to the MSE product page and click Buy Now.
Select the Task Scheduling tab.
If you have activated the MSE cluster hosting service:
Log on to the MSE console.
Select an engine type:
In the navigation pane on the left, choose , and then click Buy Now.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose , and then click Instance Creation.
Select a product type. SchedulerX supports the following product types:
XXL-JOB Edition (subscription): This is a prepaid billing method. This prepaid method allows you to reserve resources in advance at a lower price. For more information, see Billing of XXL-JOB Edition instances.
XXL-JOB Edition (pay-as-you-go): This postpaid method charges you based on actual usage. This method is suitable for scenarios with fluctuating business volumes. For more information, see Billing of XXL-JOB Edition instances.
SchedulerX (pay-as-you-go): This billing method applies to all instance tasks. The Basic Edition is billed based on task hosting CU. The Professional Edition is billed based on the sum of task hosting CU and task scheduling CU. For more information, see Billing of SchedulerX Edition instances.
SchedulerX (resource plan): You can use a resource plan to offset the pay-as-you-go fees for the task scheduling CU of Professional Edition tasks. After the resource plan is depleted, you are billed according to the pay-as-you-go pricing model. For more information, see SchedulerX Edition resource plans.
NoteBefore you purchase a resource plan, make sure that you have activated SchedulerX (pay-as-you-go). Otherwise, the resource plan cannot be applied to your fees.
On the Confirm Order page, click Pay.
On the payment page, click Purchase.
