This topic describes how to view route information and edit, publish, unpublish, and delete gateway routing rules.

View route details

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways. On the Gateways page, click the ID of the gateway.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. Then, click the Routes tab.

  4. Click the name of the desired route to view its Basic Information, Policies, Monitor, and Log.

Edit a route

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways. On the Gateways page, click the ID of the gateway.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. Then, click the Routes tab.

  4. In the Actions column for the desired route, click Edit. Alternatively, click the route's name to open its Overview page and click Edit in the upper-right corner. On the edit page, modify the route parameters and then click Save and Advertise.

Publish a route

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways. On the Gateways page, click the ID of the gateway.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. Then, click the Routes tab.

  4. In the Actions column of the target route, select More > Publish. Alternatively, click the name of the target route to go to the Overview page. Then, click the Publish button in the upper-right corner and click OK in the dialog box that appears.

    This operation applies only to unpublished routes. After a route is published, its status changes to Released. To update a published route, you must edit the routing rule.

Unpublish a route

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways. On the Gateways page, click the ID of the gateway.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. Then, click the Routes tab.

  4. In the Actions column of the target route, select More > Shutdown, or click the target route name to go to the Overview page, click Shutdown in the upper-right corner, and then click OK in the dialog box that appears.

    This operation applies only to published routes. After a route is unpublished, its status changes to Unpublished.

Delete a route

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Gateways. On the Gateways page, click the ID of the gateway.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Routes. Then, click the Routes tab.

  4. In the Actions column of the target route, select More > Shutdown. Alternatively, click the name of the target route to go to the Overview page, and then click the Shutdown button in the upper-right corner and click OK in the dialog box that appears.

    You must first unpublish a route before you can delete it. This prerequisite action changes the route's status to Unpublished.
  5. In the Actions column of the target route, select More > Delete, or click the target route name to go to the Overview page, and then click the Delete button in the upper-right corner and click OK in the dialog box that appears.
