Use tags to categorize resources. This enables fine-grained management and streamlines collaboration for cost allocation and project administration.
Usage notes
-
Each tag is a key-value pair with the format Tag Key:Tag Value.
ImportantTags with a key prefixed with
acs:are reserved for system use. Do not use this prefix for a Tag Key. You can view system-reserved tags, but you cannot edit or delete them. -
MSE Microservices Registry and Cloud-native Gateway support tagging at the instance level, while Microservices Governance supports tagging at the application level.
Important-
Tags added in the console sync to the cost allocation tag list the next day (T+1).
-
For Microservices Governance, you cannot add tags during application creation. You can add tags only after the application is onboarded, either in the console or by using the TagResources API. Billing data for the tags becomes available one hour after they are added.
