A notification policy is a key configuration in SchedulerX 2.0 for managing alert notifications. It allows you to configure notification methods and schedules for different scenarios, ensuring precise alert management. This topic describes how to create, edit, and delete a notification policy, and how to assign a notification policy to an application.
Create a notification policy
Log on to the MSE SchedulerX console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Notification Management.
Select the Notification Policy tab, and then click Create Notification Policy.
On the Create Notification Policy page, configure the following settings:
Notification policy name: Required. The name must be unique and be 5 to 50 characters long.
Description: Optional. Enter a description of up to 100 characters.
Notification channel: Select one or more channels. Supported channels include text message, email, phone, and webhook.
@all members in group: This option is available only when you select the webhook channel.
Effective Time Settings:
Apply to all channels: Sets a single effective period for all selected channels.
Configure for each channel: Sets a unique effective period for each channel.
NoteSelect any time range from Monday to Sunday. Use the HH:mm format.
Time zone: The time zone for the policy.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Notification Management.
In the notification policy list, find the desired policy and click Delete in the Actions column.
NoteIf the policy is in use, a confirmation dialog box appears. The dialog box lists the namespaces and applications that are using the policy. After you delete the policy, applications that use it will no longer send notifications.
Click Delete.
Assign a notification policy
When you create or edit an application, go to the Notification Configuration section and turn on the Use notification policy switch.
From the notification policy drop-down list, select a policy.
NoteYou can assign only one notification policy to each application.
Once configured, alerts will trigger notifications based on the policy's specified method and schedule.
