NAT Gateway resource plans are prepaid packages that automatically offset instance fees and Capacity Unit (CU) fees for Internet NAT Gateways and VPC NAT Gateways. Only instances with cross-availability-zone disaster recovery are eligible.
Overview
Features
-
Multiple sizes: Available in 1,000 CU, 10,000 CU, and 100,000 CU. Stack multiple plans as needed. Use the NAT CU Estimator to estimate CU consumption.
-
No extra configuration: Specify an activation time at purchase. Once active, the plan automatically offsets instance and CU fees.
-
Cost-effective pricing: All sizes except 1,000 CU cost less than pay-as-you-go. Larger plans save more.
For example, if a NAT Gateway in the China (Hangzhou) region consumes 10,000 CUs, the pay-as-you-go CU fees are CNY 2,300. A 10,000 CU resource plan costs CNY 2,277, saving you CNY 23.
