Subscription and pay-as-you-go for fixed specifications are no longer available for new purchases. See this topic for billing details.

Subscription

Specification fee

The specification fee is the only billable item for a subscription NAT Gateway. The formula is as follows:

Specification fee = Unit price of the size (/year) × Subscription duration (years)

Subscription NAT Gateway instances are available in small, medium, and large sizes. The price varies based on the instance size.

  • The size of a NAT Gateway instance determines its maximum connections and new connections per second. These metrics include both SNAT and DNAT connections.

  • For higher bandwidth, we recommend changing the billing method from subscription to pay-as-you-go.

  • In a production environment, various factors, such as packet size, connection type (long-lived or short-lived), and network architecture, affect the performance of a NAT Gateway instance. Therefore, the actual performance may differ from the listed specifications. We recommend performing a stress test to evaluate the instance performance based on your business requirements and configuring monitoring metrics to ensure service stability.

Description

Procedure

Renew

  • After a subscription NAT Gateway instance expires, it enters the Locked for Overdue Payments state for seven days. In this state, you cannot manage the instance, but its configurations are retained. You can renew the instance to restore its full functionality.

  • If the instance is not renewed within seven days of its expiration, it is released. Once an instance is released, its configurations and data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

To continue using the NAT Gateway instance, renew it before it expires or within seven days after expiration.

  1. Log on to the NAT Gateway console.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the NAT Gateway is deployed.

  3. On the Internet NAT Gateway page, find the target NAT Gateway, and in the Actions column, choose Renew.

  4. In the Renew panel, select a billing cycle, accept the service agreement, then click Buy Now to complete the payment.

Change specification

You can upgrade or downgrade the size of a NAT Gateway instance based on your business requirements. The procedures are similar. The following steps use an upgrade as an example.

  1. Log on to the NAT Gateway console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the NAT Gateway is deployed.

  3. On the Internet NAT Gateway page, find the target NAT Gateway, and in the Actions column, choose Upgrade.

  4. In the Upgrade panel, configure the parameters and click Buy Now.

  5. On the payment page, confirm the order amount and click Pay to complete the upgrade.

Unsubscribe

You can unsubscribe from a NAT Gateway instance if it is no longer needed. You can unsubscribe from a subscription NAT Gateway instance or cancel a pending renewal order. Before you proceed, make sure that you understand the refund rules. For more information, see Refund rules and procedures.

  1. Log on to the NAT Gateway console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the NAT Gateway is deployed.

  3. On the Internet NAT Gateway page, find the target NAT Gateway, and in the Actions column, choose Unsubscribe.

  4. On the Unsubscriptions page, on the Refund Not Apply tab, find the NAT Gateway instance that you want to unsubscribe from, and click Unsubscribe Resource in the Actions column.

  5. On the Unsubscribe Resource page, specify the Reason:. After confirming the refund rules and amount, select the acknowledgement check box and click Unsubscribe .

  6. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.

Cancel a renewal order

You can cancel pending renewal orders.

  1. Log on to the NAT Gateway console.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the NAT Gateway is deployed.

  3. On the Internet NAT Gateway page, find the target NAT Gateway, and in the Actions column, choose Unsubscribe.

  4. On the Unsubscriptions page, on the Refund Not Apply tab, find the instance for which you want to cancel the renewal, then click Cancle Renewal in the Actions column.

  5. On the Cancle Renewal page, select a Updated Expiration Time. After confirming the refund rules and amount, select the acknowledgement check box and click Unsubscribe .

  6. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, confirm the expiration time and click OK.
