SLB topology

The SLB Topology page in Network Intelligence Service (NIS) provides a visual map of the network relationships between listeners and backend server groups for a Server Load Balancer (SLB) instance. You can use this page to view basic information about related network instances, run Instance Diagnostics, and verify that traffic is distributed as expected.

Limitations

  • The topology displays a backend server group only if the group is bound to a listener.

  • This feature currently supports only resource topologies for Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances.

Resource topology

  1. Log on to the NIS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Topology > SLB Topology.

  3. On the SLB Topology page, select a SLB Type, region, and instance ID, and then click Generate Topology.
