This topic describes the refund policy for Alibaba Cloud OCR.

Alibaba Cloud OCR refund policy

1. Pay-as-you-go fees

  • Pay-as-you-go fees that have been charged are non-refundable.

2. Subscription fees (resource plans)

  • If a resource plan (excluding QPS booster packs) has not been used:

    • A resource plan is considered unused if no usage has been deducted from it after purchase.

    • You can request a full refund for any reason within 5 days of purchase. To do this, go to the Self-service portal.

    • If more than 5 days have passed since the purchase and the plan is still valid, you can request a refund. To do this, submit a ticket on the Alibaba Cloud official website.

  • If a resource plan (excluding QPS booster packs) has been used:

    • A resource plan is considered used if usage has been deducted from it after purchase.

    • Refunds are not available for used resource plans.

  • Other cases:

    • If an invoice has been issued for the resource plan, the refund is credited to your account balance. This creates an outstanding invoice amount. You must settle this amount before you can issue new invoices or withdraw your balance. To request a refund, submit a ticket on the Alibaba Cloud official website.

    • Expired resource plans are non-refundable.

    • QPS booster packs are non-refundable.
