This topic describes routing rules.
Definition
Routing rules suppress, denoise, deduplicate, and route all raw alerts received from integrations. They support vertical suppression and horizontal convergence across multiple monitoring sources to perform multi-dimensional denoising. Each routing rule can be configured with a default assignment object and notification policy to deliver more accurate notifications.
Core features
Simple configuration: Customize alert rules using a simple form.
More accurate alerting: Suppress invalid alerts vertically from multiple monitoring sources and use denoising rules to converge alert jitter horizontally. This bidirectional suppression improves alert accuracy.
Automatic event assignment: Configure a default assignment object and notification policy for each rule to immediately notify the person responsible for the task and improve routing efficiency.
