Use the pause switch to temporarily stop a cluster's full index update, real-time data indexing, incremental data indexing, and configuration updates. Use this feature cautiously.
Description:
-
Pause Full Index Update: When you turn on this switch, the online cluster does not apply the new full index version from reindexing. To resume the update, turn off the switch.
-
Use case: Use this when the new full index version has issues or to prevent a full index update.
-
-
Pause Real-time Data Indexing: When you turn on this switch, you can still push new data, but the online cluster will not load it.
-
Pause Incremental Data Indexing: When you turn on this switch, incremental data indexing is paused.
-
Note: Pausing incremental data indexing for an extended period can fill the memory, which causes real-time data indexing to stop.
-
-
Pause Configuration: When you turn on this switch, the system does not apply new configuration updates.
-
Pause All: When you turn on this switch, all the preceding operations are paused.
Procedure: You can manage the pause switches in O&M Center > O&M Management.
1. On the O&M Management page, click Pause Switch.
2. In the Pause Switch panel, toggle the switches as needed.
