Activate the service

Activate the AI Search Open Platform service

1. Log in to AI Search Open Platform and click Open immediately.

   Note

   • AI Search Open Platform is available only in the China (Shanghai) and Germany (Frankfurt) regions.

   • Users in the China (Hangzhou), China (Shenzhen), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), and China (Qingdao) regions can use a VPC endpoint to call AI Search Open Platform services across regions.

   Go to the Service Plaza page. The activation button is in the Activation Reminder banner at the top of the page.

2. Read the Search Development Service Platform Agreement. Click Sign and Purchase, and then click Open immediately.

3. When the Activation Successful message appears, the service is active. Activation takes 1 to 5 minutes. You can then explore the service in the console. For more information, see Service Overview and Experience Center.

Create a workspace

A workspace isolates and manages data. When you first activate the service, a Default workspace is created automatically. You can also create custom workspaces.

1. Log in to AI Search Open Platform.

2. On the Service Plaza page, click Space Management in the upper-right corner.

3. Click Create Space, enter a Namespace, and then click OK to create the workspace.

   You can grant a RAM user permissions scoped to a specific workspace for fine-grained access control. For more information, see Create a RAM user and grant permissions.
