Activate the AI Search Open Platform service

Log in to AI Search Open Platform and click Open immediately.
Note-
Currently, AI Search Open Platform is available only in the China (Shanghai) and Germany (Frankfurt) regions.

Users in the China (Hangzhou), China (Shenzhen), China (Beijing), China (Zhangjiakou), and China (Qingdao) regions can use VPC endpoints to call AI Search Open Platform services across regions.
Go to the Service Plaza page. The activation button is in the Activation Reminder banner at the top of the page.

Read the Search Development Service Platform Agreement. Click Sign and Purchase, and then click Open immediately. This opens the agreement signing dialog box.

When the Activation Successful message appears, the service is active. Activation takes 1 to 5 minutes. You can then go to the console to explore the service. For more information, see Service Overview and Experience Center.
Create a workspace
A workspace isolates and manages data. After activating the AI Search Open Platform service for the first time, the system automatically creates a Default workspace. You can also create your own workspaces.

Log in to AI Search Open Platform.

On the Service Plaza page, click Space Management in the upper-right corner.

Click Create Space, enter a Namespace, and then click OK to create the workspace.
AI Search Open Platform lets you grant permissions to a RAM user for a specific workspace. This approach enhances data security by applying the principle of least privilege. For more information, see Create a RAM user and grant permissions.
