View bills and consumption data
Managed Service for OpenTelemetry provides billing and consumption data in two separate consoles. View invoices and cost breakdowns in the Expenses and Costs console, and view resource usage metrics in the Managed Service for OpenTelemetry console.
View bills
The Expenses and Costs console shows detailed billing records for your Managed Service for OpenTelemetry usage.
Log on to the Expenses and Costs console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Bills > Bill Details.
Click the Billing Details tab. The page displays your bills.
View consumption data
The Usage Statistics page in the Managed Service for OpenTelemetry console shows your resource consumption data.
Log on to the Managed Service for OpenTelemetry console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Usage Statistics.
In the upper-right corner of the page, select a time period. The page displays consumption data for the selected period.
After you select a time period, the page displays the following information:
Top statistics cards: show the total volume of written data, the daily average value, the volume of written data in the current month, and the expected total volume of written data in the current month for the selected period.
Left-side filter panel: supports quick filtering by Application Name and Data Type (such as trace and metrics), and displays the volume of written data for each item.
Middle Trend Chart of Written Data: a bar chart that shows how the volume of written data for each application changes during the selected period. Each application is displayed in a different color.
Bottom application data table: lists the Volume of Written Metric Data, Total Volume of Written Traces, Total Volume of Written Data, and Percentage of each application, and provides the View Application action.
