This topic describes how to query traces using the multi-dimensional query feature.
Accessing the feature

Log on to the Managed Service for OpenTelemetry console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Multi-dimensional Query.
On the Multi-dimensional Query page, set the following parameters as needed and click Search.
Fixed query parameters
TraceID
Duration greater than (ms)
Date
Application Name
Span Name
Optional query parameter: Tag Key
Select a key from the Tag Key drop-down list, and then select a value from the Tag Value drop-down list. To add a tag key and value as a query condition, click the blue plus icon to the right of the field.
In the query results, click a TraceID to go to the Trace tab and view the trace details.
Save filter settings
To save the current query configuration, click Save and set an alias.
To delete a saved query configuration, click the delete icon next to the alias.
