OSS data indexing enables fast Object retrieval based on custom metadata conditions.

Important

Data indexing supports scalar search and vector search. Both modes incur metadata management fees, and scalar search and vector search also incur API request fees based on the number of API calls.

Incurred when you enable scalar search for data indexing.

Based on the actual file count.

Hourly.

Pay-as-you-go: Metadata management fee = Number of files × Unit price for metadata management

Metadata management fee - Content Management

Incurred when you enable vector search for data indexing.

Based on the billable file count, calculated as follows:

Video files: Billable file count for a single file = (Ceil(Actual size of a single file / 1 MB)) × 0.5
Audio files: Billable file count for a single file = (Ceil(Actual size of a single file / 1 MB)) × 5
Document files: Billable file count for a single file = (Ceil(Actual size of a single file / 1 MB)) × 5
Other file types: Billable file count for a single file = 1

Note: Ceil rounds up to the nearest integer. For a 1.3 MB file, Ceil(1.3) = 2.

Pay-as-you-go: Metadata management fee = Billable file count for a single file × Unit price for metadata management
Resource plan: Not supported
