This topic describes the updates in ossfs version 1.91.7.

New features

  • Adds support for the Ubuntu 24.04 and Rocky Linux 9 operating systems.

  • When you use a RAM role for authentication to mount ossfs on an ECS instance, the enhanced metadata mode is used by default. You can use the -o disable_imdsv2 option to resume authentication in the non-enhanced mode.

Optimizations

  • Optimizes the prompt message for OSS V4 signatures after mounting.

  • Optimizes memory usage in direct read mode.
