Causes

The request uses Amazon S3-compatible authentication. However, this authentication mode is not enabled for OSS.

Examples

An Amazon S3 SDK is used to send a request to OSS without enabling the S3-compatible authentication mode.

Solutions

Choose one of the following options:

Option 1: Switch to OSS authentication

Use OSS-native authentication instead of Amazon S3-compatible authentication. For supported authentication methods, see Overview.

Option 2: Enable Amazon S3-compatible authentication

To continue using your Amazon S3 SDK or tools, contact technical support to enable the S3-compatible authentication mode for OSS.
