Problem description

Calls to the PutBucket operation fail, and you cannot create a bucket using your Alibaba Cloud account.

Causes

The Alibaba Cloud account used to call PutBucket does not have the oss:PutBucket permission.

Use one of the following approaches:

• Use a different account: Create the bucket with another Alibaba Cloud account that already has the oss:PutBucket permission.

• Grant the permission to the current account: Attach a Resource Access Management (RAM) policy that includes the oss:PutBucket action to your Alibaba Cloud account. For policy examples, see Common examples of RAM policies.
