Problem description

The request is throttled.

Problem cause

The request exceeded the throttling limit.

Sample problem

• Your upload request to a bucket was throttled because the upload traffic was too high.

• Your download request from a bucket was throttled because the download traffic was too high.

Solution

For a single Alibaba Cloud account, the upstream and downstream bandwidth limits are 10 Gbit/s each for regions in the Chinese mainland and 5 Gbit/s each for regions outside the Chinese mainland. If this threshold is reached, requests are throttled.
