Problem description
Upload to a bucket configured with SSE-KMS fails because the Alibaba Cloud account has an overdue payment for Key Management Service (KMS).
Causes
When an Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments, you cannot use KMS-managed keys to encrypt or decrypt data in OSS. OSS relies on KMS to encrypt and decrypt data in SSE-KMS buckets. Without access to KMS, OSS cannot complete upload operations on an SSE-KMS bucket.
Examples
The error occurs when you upload an object to a bucket that uses server-side encryption with KMS-managed keys (SSE-KMS) and your account has an overdue KMS payment. The upload fails.
Solutions
Check whether your Alibaba Cloud account has overdue payments. If it does, top up the account to restore KMS access. For billing details, see Billing of KMS.
