Description

The Transition element in the XML request body of the PutBucketLifecycle request is not supported in the current region.

Cause

The Transition operation element is not supported for changing the storage class in the region of the bucket specified in the PutBucketLifecycle request.

Example problems

In the following example, the region where the `oss-example` bucket is located does not support the Transition element.

Solutions

• Contact technical support to be added to the whitelist.

• Configure a lifecycle rule in the OSS console to avoid manually creating the request body.
