Problem description

You are not the owner of the destination bucket specified in the XML body of the PutBucketLogging request.

Causes

You do not own the destination bucket specified by the TargetBucket parameter in the LoggingEnabled child node of the BucketLoggingStatus node in the PutBucketLogging request. The destination bucket specified by the TargetBucket parameter in the PutBucketLogging request must be owned by the account that you use to initiate the request.

Examples

For example, you initiate the following request:

PUT /?logging HTTP/1.1
Date: GMT Date
Content-Length: ContentLength
Content-Type: application/xml
Authorization: SignatureValue
Host: BucketName.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<BucketLoggingStatus>
    <LoggingEnabled>
    		<TargetBucket>Bucket-Not-Belong</TargetBucket>
        <TargetPrefix>TargetPrefix</TargetPrefix>
    </LoggingEnabled>
</BucketLoggingStatus>

The error is returned for the sample request if the account that you use does not own the Bucket-Not-Belong bucket specified by the TargetBucket parameter in the LoggingEnabled node.

Solutions

Make sure that the TargetBucket parameter in the XML request body specifies a bucket that is owned by your account.

PUT /?logging HTTP/1.1
Date: GMT Date
Content-Length: ContentLength
Content-Type: application/xml
Authorization: SignatureValue
Host: BucketName.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<BucketLoggingStatus>
    <LoggingEnabled>
        <TargetBucket>TargetBucket</TargetBucket>
        <TargetPrefix>TargetPrefix</TargetPrefix>
    </LoggingEnabled>
</BucketLoggingStatus>
