Description

The q parameter is invalid when you use the legacy Image Service to change the quality of an image.

Cause

The value of the q parameter is outside the valid range of [1, 100].

Example problem

GET /example_image@100w_100h_120q HTTP/1.1
Host: oss-example.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com
Date: Fri, 03 Feb 2023 03:41:49 GMT
Content-Type: application/xml

In the preceding request, the quality is set to 120 (120q). This value is outside the valid range of [1, 100] and causes the error.

Solution

Specify the q parameter in the request string.
