Problem description

The StartTime parameter in the GetVodPlaylist request is invalid.

Causes

You sent a GetVodPlaylist request to retrieve a playlist for a specific time period from a stream ingested to a LiveChannel. The request failed because the StartTime parameter was missing or invalid. The StartTime parameter specifies the start time to query Transport Stream (TS) files. The value must be a UNIX timestamp.

Examples

For example, consider the following request:

GET /test-channel?vod&endTime=1472020226&startTime=abc HTTP/1.1
Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2016 07:13:26 GMT
Host: test-bucket.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com
Authorization: OSS qn6q**************:77Dv****************

In the request, the value of StartTime is abc. This is not a valid UNIX timestamp. As a result, the system returns an error.

Solutions

Make sure that the StartTime and EndTime parameters are UNIX timestamps. The EndTime value must be later than the StartTime value. The time span between the start and end times cannot be longer than one day. The following is a valid request:

GET /test-channel?vod&endTime=1472020226&startTime=1472020031 HTTP/1.1
Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2016 07:13:26 GMT
Host: test-bucket.oss-cn-hangzhou.aliyuncs.com
Authorization: OSS qn6q**************:77Dv****************
