How can I view the Host parameter?

Updated at:

When you use specific OSS SDKs, you must use the Host parameter. By default, the Host parameter is in the https://{bucketname}.{endpoint} format. OSS provides multiple methods to view the Host parameter. This topic describes how to view the Host parameter.

You can use one of the following methods to view the Host parameter:

  • Concatenate the Host parameter: View the mapping between the regions and endpoints of regions and concatenate the value of the Host parameter based on the rules. For more information, see Regions and endpoints.

  • Use the OSS console: Log on to the OSS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Buckets. On the buckets page, click the bucket whose bucket domain names you want to query. In the left-side navigation tree, click Overview. On the Overview page, view the bucket domain names in the Port section. For more information, see Get started by using the OSS console.

  • Call the DescribeRegions operation: You can call the DescribeRegions operation to query the endpoints of a region and concatenate the value of the Host parameter based on the composition rules. For more information, see DescribeRegions.
