Configure invitation scripts for interested customers

Updated at:

This topic describes how to configure invitation scripts for interested customers.

This example uses an automotive invitation script that includes a primary and a secondary flow.

Primary and secondary flow configuration

1. Define intents (Start, Affirmative, Negative, Busy, Replay)

For more information, see Intent management.

2. Configure scripts

2.1. Create two conversation flows (one primary and one secondary)

After you create the flows, click Edit Conversation Flow to configure the flow.

2.2. Configure the conversation flow content

2.2.1. Configure the primary flow

Open the primary flow and click Edit to configure the primary conversation flow.

On the canvas configuration page, click the black Start node and bind the Start intent that you previously defined.

1) Add an interaction node and set the bot's script.

Configure the settings for timeout and unrecognized input.

In this example, the bot is configured to hang up after one timeout or one instance of unrecognized input.

Open the flow exit settings and configure the script to return to the primary flow.

Enable Proactive return. This ensures that the conversation returns to the primary flow after it branches to the secondary flow.

2) Bind user utterances to intents to control branch navigation.

To collect user information during the conversation, find the variable configuration in the subsequent actions and set the appropriate tags.

2.2.2. Configure the secondary flow

A secondary flow is typically used to handle global responses to common user situations, such as when the user is busy or wants to file a complaint.

1) Open the secondary conversation flow to edit it.

Click the start node to attach the defined question.

If the user is busy, the bot hangs up and tags the call.

If the user asks to hear the message again, the bot returns to the primary flow and continues the script.

When you are finished, click Save.
