Create an audience
An audience is a group of users with shared characteristics. This allows you to compare and analyze user groups when running A/B tests. Audiences are widely used in domains (a set of traffic grouped by service), experiments, and experiment versions. You can use audiences to select specific users for an experiment. This topic describes how to create and manage audiences.
Create an audience

Go to the ABTest page.

Log on to the PAI console.

In the left-side navigation pane, click Workspaces. On the Workspaces page, click the name of the workspace that you want to manage.

In the left-side navigation pane of the PAI-ABTest page, choose .

On the User Group Management page, click Create audience and configure the following parameters.

Description
Name
The custom name for the audience.
Description
Enter a description for the audience.
User
Enter one or more user IDs. Press Enter after each ID, or enter a comma-separated list of IDs, such as
uid1,uid2. -
After you configure the parameters, click OK.
Manage audiences
After you create an audience, you can view it in the audience list and perform the following operations.

Update an audience
In the Actions column for the target audience, click Edit to modify its description and update the associated users.

Clone an audience
In the Actions column for the source audience, click Clone to create a new audience. The new audience reuses the configuration of the source audience, so you do not have to re-enter the parameters.

Delete an audience
In the Actions column for the target audience, click Delete to remove the audience.
