FAQ

What do I do if I cannot enable the PolarDB for AI feature?

  • If the PolarDB for AI item does not appear in the left-side navigation pane of the cluster details page, check whether your cluster meets the requirements described in the Scope of application section.

  • If you cannot purchase an AI node on the buy page, modify the configuration as prompted by the error message. For example:

    • No specification change: Click Add AI Node and select a specification for the AI node.

    • Select from the following specifications: Click the node specification, and select a fixed specification as required. A db4ai node supports the following specifications: 2 cores and 8 GB, 2 cores and 16 GB, 4 cores and 16 GB, 4 cores and 32 GB, 8 cores and 32 GB, 16 cores and 64 GB, and 32 cores and 128 GB. If you select a specification that is not in the list, such as 2 cores and 4 GB, the system displays a red error message at the bottom of the page.
