Viewing bills

On the Expenses and Costs > Bill > Bill Details page, use the filters to query for bills.

Note

You can only query bills for a single calendar month at a time. You cannot select a time range that spans multiple calendar months. For example, you cannot select the period from January 10, 2022 to February 10, 2022.

Billing details (New)

The billing details page contains many fields. The following table describes some of them. For additional field descriptions, see Terms Related to Fees and Costs.

Parameter	Description
Product Code	Corresponds to the Commodity Name field. For example, `polardb_backups_public_cn` is the code for PolarDB backup.
Billable Item Code	Corresponds to the Billable Item field. For example, `master_spec` is the code for compute node.
Usage	The usage of a billable item. Note To verify the usage amount, refer to the billable item details. If the billing period is monthly or daily, this value is the sum of the detailed usage amounts. This value is for reference only and should not be used for reconciliation.
List Price	The list price of the product.
Total List Price	The total list price for the resource configuration selected at purchase. For prepaid resources, this refers to the total configuration price before discounts. For postpaid resources, it is the unit price before discounts.

Example

The following table shows the monthly records for several billable items from the billing details page. In this example, the **Statistics Item** is set to Billable Item, the **Billing Period** is set to Billing Month, and the **Product Name** is set to PolarDB.

The monthly records show the following:

In row 2, the storage space usage of 2088.54862 GB represents the total storage space used by a PolarDB cluster during that month.
See billable items and resource packages for the list price of each billable item.
The total list price is calculated using the following formula: Total List Price = Usage × List Price. Storage packages are an exception, where the total list price is equal to the list price.

Bill details (Legacy)

The bill details page contains many columns. This topic describes some of the key columns. For more information about the columns, see Terms Related to Expenses and Costs.

Column	Description
Billable item code	Corresponds to the Billable Item field. For example, master_spec represents a compute node.
Usage	The usage of a billable item. Note To verify this value, check the usage breakdown for the billable item. If the statistical period is set to a day or billing cycle, the displayed usage is the sum of all detailed usage data. This value is for reference only and should not be used for reconciliation.
Pretax Gross Amount	The pretax amount calculated based on the list price. Refer to the price unit field for the unit of measurement.

The following shows the monthly records for some billable items on the Bill Details > Billing Details page, where Summarized by is set to Billable Item, Billing Period is set to Billing Cycle, and Product is set to PolarDB.

The preceding monthly records show the following:

In row 2, the storage capacity usage is 2088.54862 GB. This value indicates the total storage capacity usage of a PolarDB cluster for the current month.
For the list price of each billable item, see billable items and resource plans.
The Pretax Gross Amount is calculated as follows: Usage × List Price. For storage plans, the Pretax Gross Amount equals the list price, regardless of usage.
