Delete a network channel to stop cross-cluster data access between a source cluster and a destination cluster in PolarDB for PostgreSQL.
When to delete a network channel
Delete a network channel in the following situations:
A cross-cluster data sync task is complete and the connection is no longer needed.
You are decommissioning the source or destination cluster.
After you delete a network channel, the source cluster can no longer access data in the destination cluster through this channel. Make sure that no active queries or applications depend on the channel before you proceed.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
Confirmed that no active queries or applications are using the network channel
Verified that the source cluster no longer requires access to the destination cluster over this channel
