The Quick Diagnostics feature for and integrates some capabilities from Database Autonomy Service (DAS). You can use Performance Insight to quickly assess database load, pinpoint the root cause of performance issues, and improve database stability.
Background information
Performance Insight collects data from the following sources:

If
performance_schemais enabled on the instance, Performance Insight collects and analyzes data fromperformance_schema. -
If
performance_schemais not enabled on the instance, Performance Insight collects and analyzes active session data.
Procedure

Log on to the PolarDB console.

In the upper-left corner of the console, select the region where your cluster is located.

On the Clusters page, click the ID of the target cluster.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

Click the Performance Insight tab.

Click Enable Performance Insight.

In the dialog box, click OK.

On the Performance Insight page, you can view and manage the following information:

In the Performance Insight section, you can view the database performance for a specific time range. To view details for a specific metric, such as CPU utilization, click the Details button next to the metric name.
NoteThe time range cannot exceed seven days.

In the Average Active Sessions section, you can view trend charts for different session types, such as SQL, and related multi-dimensional load information to help identify the root cause of performance issues.
