Extracts n consecutive pcpoint objects from a pcpatch, starting at a given 1-based index, and returns them as a new pcpatch.
Syntax
pcpatch ST_range(pcpatch pc, integer start, integer n);Parameters

pc | The pcpatch object to extract from. |
start | The sequence number of the first pcpoint to extract. Sequence numbers are 1-based. |
n | The number of pcpoint objects to extract, starting from and including the pcpoint at position start. |
Examples
UPDATE patches SET pa = ST_range(pa, 2, 16);

(1 rows)The statement replaces each pa column value with a new pcpatch containing 16 consecutive pcpoints starting from position 2 of the original patch.
