Service quotas define the maximum number of cloud resources you can use or operations you can perform with an Alibaba Cloud account. This topic describes the quotas and related limits for PrivateLink.
Service quotas
Alibaba Cloud service quotas are typically scoped to an account or a region. Based on what they limit, quotas fall into the following types:
General quotas: The maximum number of cloud resources an Alibaba Cloud account can use.
API rate quotas: The maximum frequency of API calls for an Alibaba Cloud account, also known as queries per second (QPS) limits.
Privilege quotas: Entitlements from Alibaba Cloud that let you use specific features.
PrivateLink provides general quotas, API rate quotas, and privilege quotas. Some of these quotas are adjustable. You can log on to the Alibaba Cloud Quota Center or the VPC Console to view your quotas or request a quota increase.
General quotas
The following table describes the general quotas for PrivateLink.
The default quota values in this topic are for reference only. For the actual values, refer to the console.
Endpoint service quotas
Quota name | Description | Default quota | Adjustable |
| The number of service resources that you can add to a single endpoint service. | 500 | |
| The number of service resources that you can add to each availability zone for an endpoint service. | 100 | |
| The number of endpoint services that you can create with an Alibaba Cloud account. | 200 |
Endpoint quotas
Quota name | Description | Default quota | Adjustable |
| The total number of endpoints that you can create in a VPC. This includes interface endpoints, reverse endpoints, and Gateway Load Balancer endpoints. | 1,000 | |
| The maximum bandwidth for each cross-region connection between regions in the Chinese mainland. | 1,000 Mbps | |
| The maximum bandwidth for each cross-region connection between regions outside the Chinese mainland. | 100 Mbps |
API rate quotas
For more information about API rate quotas, see Flow control information.
Privilege quotas
A default privilege quota of 0 means the feature is unavailable. You can use the feature only after Alibaba Cloud grants the privilege.
Quota name | Description | Adjustable |
Service resource replacement | Grants permission to replace the service resources of an endpoint service. |
Endpoint service limits
Resource | Limit |
Supported service resource types for an endpoint service | Internet-facing or internal-facing NLB instances, Internet-facing or internal-facing ALB instances, pay-as-you-go internal-facing CLB instances, and GWLB instances |
Supported IP versions for an endpoint service | IPv4, dual-stack Dual-stack is supported only when the service resource is an NLB or ALB instance. |
Supported transport layer protocols for an endpoint service | TCP, UDP |
