After creating a DingTalk chatbot in Alert Management, you can add the DingTalk group to a notification policy to receive alerts. When a matching rule is triggered, an alert notification is automatically sent to the specified group. You can then manage alerts directly in DingTalk.

Prerequisites

You have created a DingTalk group to receive alert notifications.

Create a DingTalk chatbot

  1. Create a custom chatbot in your DingTalk group and obtain its webhook URL. For more information, see Set up DingTalk chatbot alerting.

  2. Log on to the Managed Service for Prometheus console. In the left navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Notification Objects.

  3. Click the DingTalk/Lark/WeCom tab, and then click the DingTalk card.

  4. In the panel that appears, configure the following parameters and click OK.

    Description

    Name

    A custom name for the DingTalk chatbot.

    Signature Key

    Optional. If you provide a signature key, it is used for authentication. Otherwise, authentication uses a keyword whitelist by default. The default keyword is alert. For more information, see the official DingTalk documentation.

    Chatbot Webhook URL

    Enter the webhook URL of the DingTalk chatbot.

    Whether the Chatbot Sends Daily Statistics

    If you select this option, specify the times to send the daily statistics. Use commas (,) to separate multiple times. The format is HH:mm. At the specified times, Alert Management sends a daily summary of total, resolved, and unresolved alerts.

Manage alerts in a DingTalk group

After you receive an alert notification in a DingTalk group, you can view and manage alerts within that group. For more information, see Handle alerts in an alert notification group.

Edit, search, or delete a chatbot

On the Notification Objects page, click the DingTalk/Lark/WeCom tab to manage existing chatbots:

  • Search: Enter a keyword in the search box and click the Search icon.

  • Edit: Click Edit in the Actions column. Modify the settings in the dialog box, and then click OK.

  • Delete: Click Delete in the Actions column. In the dialog box, click OK.
