The API Center in PTS is a centralized platform for managing HTTP APIs. It lets you quickly test and stress test your APIs. You can create API collections in the API Center to categorize your APIs for easier searching and management. This topic describes how to create an API collection.

PTS provides a default collection. If this collection does not meet your needs, you can create your own. The API Center supports two layers of collections. This means you can create sub-collections within a collection for more detailed API management. You can add APIs to both collections and sub-collections. For more information, see Create an API.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the PTS console. In the navigation pane on the left, click API Test.

  2. On the left, click the dk icon to create a collection.

  3. In the New Collection dialog box, enter a name for the collection and click Confirm.

The collections under Default Collection on the left are the API collections that you have created.

    Other collection operations:

    • Expand a collection: Click the sl icon to the left of a collection to expand it.

    • Collapse a collection: Click the sll icon to the left of a collection to collapse it.

    • Create a sub-collection: Click the slio icon to the right of a collection to create a sub-collection.

    • Delete a collection: Click the slll icon to the right of a collection to delete it.

      Important

If you delete a collection, its sub-collections and all APIs within them are also deleted. Perform this operation with caution.

    • Edit a collection: Click the sllo icon to the right of a collection to rename it.
