Customize traffic
PTS lets you customize IPv6 and regional traffic. By configuring the geographic distribution of stress agents, you can simulate traffic from local users and control where your test traffic originates.
Customize IPv6 traffic
On the Stress Configuration page, IPv6 traffic is disabled by default. Enable this option to run stress tests on IPv6 addresses.
This feature is not supported on Alibaba Cloud VPC internal networks.
Customize regional traffic
On the Stress Configuration page, turn on the Customize Traffic Region switch, and then click Add Region. Select regions based on your business requirements and configure the number of stress agents for each region to define the traffic ratio. After you complete the configuration, you can view a pie chart of the traffic distribution in the Traffic Sources section on the right.
If you do not specify regions for stress traffic distribution, PTS randomly pulls load generators from the following regions by default: China (Zhangjiakou), China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Qingdao), China (Shenzhen), and China (Chengdu).
