Feature overview

Use self-service data retrieval to download data to your local device in Excel or CSV format.

Supported data sources

Self-service data retrieval supports all created data sources except for API data sources.

Limitations

Note the following when you use this feature:

• This feature is available only in Professional Edition group spaces.

• Advanced calculations, such as year-over-year and sequential comparisons, are not supported.

• Cross-source datasets do not support self-service data retrieval.

• Data sources uploaded to the exploration space do not support self-service data retrieval.

• Offline downloads are limited to 1 million rows and a maximum file size of 1 GB.

  Note

  A standalone deployment can support up to tens of millions of rows.

• Offline download files are retained for 7 days and then automatically deleted.

• The offline download preview is limited to 50 rows.

• If you use a MaxCompute data source, the account associated with the AccessKey must have the Create Table permission.

• For non-MaxCompute data sources, add the following IP ranges to the allowlist. Otherwise, self-service data retrieval is unavailable:

  • 47.101.107.0/24

  • 106.15.146.0/24

  • 106.15.145.0/24
