API data source
Use an API to retrieve business data from external systems. This feature is available only in the Professional Edition.
Data source network requirements
To add a data source, ensure it meets these network requirements:
ApsaraDB RDS instances in a VPC can connect to Quick BI using a public domain name. However, only those running MySQL or SQL Server can also connect using an internal domain name.
Instances in a classic network can connect to Quick BI using a public or internal domain name. If you use a public domain name for an ApsaraDB RDS instance, you must configure an IP address whitelist for it. For more information, see Configure a whitelist.
Quick BI is accessible from the Internet.
MySQL and SQL Server databases that you host on an ECS instance in a VPC can connect to Quick BI using an internal domain name.
