Pre-configured data assets

Updated at:

The pre-configured data assets feature allows an administrator to bundle frequently used data resources within a department or business module into a standardized data asset package and deliver it to target business users. When creating a new analysis task, these users can directly use curated, pre-filtered, and validated data assets without needing to manually search for or configure them. This article describes how to pre-configure and manage data asset packages.

Prerequisites

  • Subscription: You must have a Quick BI AIPro subscription.

  • Permissions: Only an administrator (a user with centralized management permissions for Quick BI AIPro) can access the Management Center to create and manage data asset packages. For details on permission configuration, see User Permissions.

Access

In Quick BI AIPro, navigate to the Management Center and click Pre-configured Data Assets in the left-side navigation pane.image

The asset package name must be unique. You cannot proceed if the name is already in use.

Select the users who will receive this asset package from the Select Target Users list.

    • On the Select assets step, select the data resources to include in the package, such as datasets, dashboards, or data table combinations. This step displays only the assets that the target users have permission to access. To modify the basic information, click Previous.image
