Quick BI AIPro is a next-generation, AI-driven business intelligence platform from Alibaba Cloud that deeply integrates traditional BI capabilities with large language models. You can use natural language conversations to perform end-to-end operations, including data queries, visual analysis, and report generation. This supports a full analysis workflow: Overview → Breakdown → Attribution → Diagnosis → Action.
Use cases
A business manager asks, "What were the year-over-year sales by region for last week?" five minutes before a morning meeting and instantly receives a chart with attribution analysis.
An operations team member asks, "Why did GMV in East China decline?" and the system automatically drills down to provide three-level attribution across product categories, channels, and stores.
A finance professional generates a monthly business dashboard through conversation and sets up a recurring task to send the monthly report on the first day of each month.

My Knowledge/Memories
My Knowledge/Memories includes My Semantic Knowledge and My Memories.

You can manually add semantic knowledge.

Data Interpretation: Provide a detailed explanation for the current business definition, including its meaning, calculation method, and important notes. This improves the large language model's understanding of the business definition. The maximum length is 1,000 characters.
Synonym: Enter other common names or aliases for the current business term. This allows the large language model to recognize different ways of asking about the same business definition.
You can add a synonym by typing it and pressing Enter. To add multiple synonyms at once, separate them with a semicolon (;). When a user asks a question about a relevant data asset that contains a synonym, the AI automatically applies this knowledge.
In My Memories, you can configure My Profile and your playbook.

You can enable or disable the Auto-extract memory feature. When enabled, the system automatically extracts and saves key information from your conversations. This content cannot be edited.
The playbook is editable, allowing you to customize and modify it as needed.
My Sharing
In My Sharing, you can view the resources that you have shared. You can enable or disable sharing, copy links, and delete shared items.

Personal identification code
View your personal identification code.

Language Settings
Switch the display language.
The default language is determined by your browser settings. You can switch to Simplified Chinese or English.
Analysis mode switching: You can switch between Chat mode and Canvas mode.
Chat mode: This is the core functional module of Quick BI AIPro. You can describe your analysis needs in natural language, and the AI automatically performs data queries and calculations, and then returns structured analysis results. It supports multi-turn follow-up questions, artifact generation, and one-click subscriptions.
Canvas mode: This is a visual workbench for intelligent conversational analysis. You can move analytical results from your conversation onto the canvas for free-form arrangement and combined presentation. The canvas holds all outputs generated during a conversation, such as charts, text, reports, dashboards, and HTML files. It also supports organizing, asking follow-up questions about, and combining these outputs to generate new analytical artifacts.
Intent recognition: AIPro uses intent recognition to automatically map your natural language input to a corresponding action, such as Data Query, Visualization, Diagnosis, Report Generation, or Scheduled Task Creation. This means you do not have to manually switch to a specific feature page. The system returns analysis results based on the content of your question.
Multiple result formats: You can generate results in various formats, including document reports, visual dashboards, HTML reports, PowerPoint presentations, and skills.
Use analysis results: You can share, subscribe to, and download your analysis results.
View history: You can view and search your history for Tasks and Subscriptions at the bottom of the left-side navigation pane.

Workflow
The Quick BI AIPro workflow is divided into two main paths: Admin configuration and User workflow. The following sections describe the steps and provide links to related documentation.
Admin configuration
Step | Action | Description |
1 | Configure user permissions by using custom roles.
2 | Connect your enterprise data. This allows business users to find and use predefined enterprise data assets, including data tables, datasets, files, and APIs.
3 | (Optional) Pre-configure common data assets. This allows business users to directly access frequently used departmental data assets after logging on, without needing to configure or search for data sources themselves.
4 | Configure the knowledge center. Incorporate enterprise knowledge, such as business conventions and metric definitions, into AIPro to ensure that AI analysis results align with your company's standards.
5 | (Optional) Configure analysis skills. Save your company's standard analysis logic and methods—such as for monthly business reviews, anomaly attribution, or store performance dashboards—as reusable AI skills.
6 | (Optional) Connect MCP connectors. Integrate external tools such as DingTalk, Feishu, internal enterprise APIs, or industry data sources into the AI analysis process by using MCP (Model Context Protocol) to expand the scope of your analysis.
7 | View user activity, including questions, data retrieval processes, and feedback such as likes and dislikes.
8 | Credit and quota management. Control and audit resource usage for users in your enterprise. |
User workflow
Step | Action | Description |
1 | Configure data assets. You can add data from the enterprise Data Plaza or upload local files. Supported file types include Excel, PDF, Word, Markdown, and TXT.
2 | Describe your analysis requirements in natural language. The AI automatically performs data queries and calculations and returns structured analysis results. The system supports multi-turn follow-up questions, artifact generation, and one-click subscriptions. It also provides two interaction modes: Chat mode and Canvas mode.
3 | A centralized location to store and manage all the analytical artifacts that you have generated and saved during conversational analysis.
4 | The management module for scheduled analysis tasks. You can configure important analysis tasks to run on a schedule. The system automatically runs them at your specified frequency and delivers the results through various channels, such as email, DingTalk, or WeCom.
