User permissions

Updated at:

To ensure the security of enterprise data assets and compliant user operations, users require specific permissions to use Quick BI AIPro features and manage supporting resources. An organization administrator can configure organization roles in the organization management center to flexibly control user permissions for basic functions and centralized management in AIPro. This topic describes how to configure these permissions for business users.

Prerequisites

  • Subscription: An active Quick BI AIPro subscription.

  • Permission restrictions: Only an organization administrator can configure permissions in the organization management center.

Entry point

Go to the Organization Management page and select User Management from the left-side navigation pane.image

Procedure

AIPro permissions are divided into two types: basic functions and centralized management.

  • Basic functions: This permission enables users to perform daily operations in Quick BI AIPro, such as engaging in AI-powered conversations and initiating analysis tasks.

  • Centralized management: This permission enables users to centrally manage supporting resources, such as enterprise data assets and knowledge, in the AIPro management center.

An organization administrator can set the functional permissions for a role under Role Management > Organization Roles. You can then assign this organization role to users to control their permissions in Quick BI AIPro.image

The following table describes the role types and their settings.
