Using Quick BI AIPro features and managing its resources requires specific user permissions to ensure data security and operational compliance. In the organization management center, an organization administrator can configure organization roles to manage user permissions for basic features and centralized management in AIPro. This topic describes how to configure these permissions for business users.
Prerequisites
Subscription: Your organization has the Quick BI AIPro edition.
Required role: Only an organization administrator can configure permissions in the organization management center.
Feature access
Go to the Organization Management page and select User Management in the left-side navigation pane.
Procedure
AIPro permissions are divided into two types: basic features and centralized management.
basic features are the permissions required to use AIPro. Users with these permissions can perform daily tasks, such as engaging in AI conversations and initiating analysis tasks.
centralized management provides permissions to administer corporate assets in AIPro. Users with this permission can maintain supporting resources, such as corporate data assets and corporate knowledge, in the AIPro management center.
An organization administrator can configure feature permissions for a role under Role Management > Organization Roles. This role can then be assigned to users to control their permissions in AIPro.
The following table describes the different role types and their settings.
Role type | Description | |
Preset role (A default Quick BI role that cannot be modified.) | Organization Administrator | Has centralized management and basic features permissions for AIPro by default. |
