Remove tags
Remove tags from an ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance when the instance configuration changes or the tags are no longer needed.
Limitations
You can remove a maximum of 20 tags at a time.
After you remove a tag from an instance, ApsaraDB RDS checks whether the tag is attached to other RDS instances. If it is not, the tag is deleted.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
An ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instance with tags attached
Access to the ApsaraDB RDS console
Remove a tag from a single instance
Log on to the ApsaraDB RDS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instance resides.
Find the instance and move the pointer over the
icon in the Tags column. In the tooltip that appears, click Edit.In the Configure Tags dialog box, click the
icon to the right of the tag you want to remove.Click OK.
Remove tags from multiple instances
Log on to the ApsaraDB RDS console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the instances reside.
Select the instances from which you want to remove tags.
Click Delete Tags for Multiple Resources below the instance list.
In the Delete Tags for Multiple Resources dialog box, select the tags to remove.
Click Unbind X tags. In the Configure Tags successfully message, confirm the removal details.
