Billing resumes for SQL Insight and SQL Audit
The SQL Insight and SQL Audit features for RDS use a pay-as-you-go billing model. However, a configuration issue in certain regions prevented correct billing for these features. Alibaba Cloud has resolved this issue and will resume pay-as-you-go billing for these features in the affected regions starting August 15, 2022.

The SQL Insight and SQL Audit features are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. You can view and manage the logs for these features in the RDS console:

You can change the retention period of SQL Insight logs. For more information, see Change the retention period of SQL logs. |
The retention period for SQL Audit logs is fixed at 30 days. |

You can view an instance's SQL Insight log size in the Usage Statistics section on the Basic Information page of the RDS console. |
You cannot currently view the size of SQL Audit logs. |
